When Jesus ascended to Heaven He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men and women. To some He gave the right to be Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Pastors and some Teachers. This article discusses the various functions of these offices and anointings and how God is putting together teams of 5-fold gifts to plant and establish churches for the immensity of the end-time harvest!

In This last hour, the Lord is raising up 5-fold ministry teams who will function under apostolic oversight and minister to churches visitationaly, residentially and trans-locally. The day of the "one-man-show" and the "spectator mentality" has come to an end. God is establishing a "team pattern" of ministry to enable local churches to contain the coming harvest and to accelerate the maturation process of His people.

When a local church is experiencing a ‘loss of breath’ and it is in need of a resuscitation, sometimes the pastors and leaders need to call in a specialist. There are specialists that God will send to help churches that are spiritually declining. These specialists are called, revivalists. Throughout history God has used revivalists to help resuscitate churches after the flesh, the world and the devil had knocked the wind out of them. It will be the same in these last days. God is raising up revivalists again!

In the fall of 1990, shortly after retiring for the evening, something quite unexpected happened to me. I had just laid my head on my pillow and closed my eyes to go to sleep when suddenly, the heavens opened and I saw a vision. It was like someone had turned on a movie projector and began projecting images on a screen before me. I had no ability to start or stop what I was seeing.

Accurate discernment cannot come until you first develop the ability to discern the motives of your own heart. You can’t see clearly to remove a speck from someone’s eye until you have first removed the log from your own. If your own heart is polluted with bitter envy, selfish ambition, pride, unforgiveness, or rebellion, then your so-called "discernment" will be nothing more than jealousy or paranoia. There are many in the Church today who think they are very discerning when they are really full of vain imaginations or evil suspicions.
